The findings warrant “immediate clinical evaluation of HIV antiretroviral therapies in people with Alzheimer’s disease,” according to the authors of the study. The new study published in the journal ‘Nature’, offers unprecedented revelations into the APP gene, which provides instructions for making a protein called amyloid precursor protein."

This legislation would build out the systems necessary to create a public health infrastructure to combat Alzheimer’s disease and promote brain health. The legislation will now advance to the full Senate for consideration."
